Hewitt Area Volunteer Fire Department's 27th Annual 5K Pumpkin Run/Walk Fundraiser with a FREE Kids half mile prior to 5K

🎃 27th Annual Pumpkin Run/Walk Set for November 7

The Hewitt Area Volunteer Fire Department Association is excited to announce the 27th Annual Pumpkin Run/Walk, taking place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Yellowstone Park Pavilion, 7658 Yellowstone Drive in Hewitt.

The event is a fun, family-friendly community event with something for everyone!

🏃 Race Schedule

* Kids ½-Mile Race: 9:45 a.m. — Kids race FREE!

* 5K Run/Walk: 10:00 a.m.

* Bib pickup begins at 8:00 a.m.

Participants are encouraged to bring the kids and/or your pets and enjoy a morning of exercise, fun and community spirit.

🎉 Post-Race Celebration

Immediately following the run/walk, everyone is invited to stay at Yellowstone Park for a celebration featuring:

* 🏆 Awards

* 🎁 Many prizes

* 🍽️ Meal

* 🤝 Social event and fellowship

There will be plenty of opportunities to visit with friends, meet other community members and enjoy the fall morning together.

👕 Registration & Shirts

Pre-registration is encouraged. October 16, 2026, is the deadline to guarantee your shirt size and to have your name/logo included on the event shirt.

Long-sleeve neon green dry-fit shirts are available to participants who register with a shirt. Additional shirts may also be available while supplies last.

The Pumpkin Run/Walk is sponsored by the Hewitt Area Volunteer Fire Department Association to benefit the Hewitt Area Volunteer Fire Department. Proceeds help support the department and its ongoing needs, including training, equipment and facilities.
