AI and the Future Ahead of Us

AI is affecting us in many ways today. As AI capability continues to advance, it might affect us in more ways than we thought possible. If AI will affect all of us, then we should all get some sort of say in the direction it takes. Today, we’ll be seeing how capable AI systems might affect us in the future, and discussing what that means for us and our community.

Participants will watch a short video introducing the rapid pace of development, followed by a facilitated group discussion exploring how AI is already changing our lives, and what that means for our community, safety, and future.

Librarian and former technology journalist Scott will be hosting this event.
