Weird Book Club at Rogers Park Social: Wuthering Heights
Do you like science fiction, fantasy, horror, or other just plain strange books? Meet fellow weird readers to discuss strange and speculative fiction at Weird Book Club, an adult book discussion group that meets at Rogers Park Social on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
Reserved book club copies are available to checkout at the Rogers Park information desk, while supplies last. Many titles are also available as eBooks or eAudiobooks on the Hoopla and/or Libby app.
This month we're reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. You saw the movie, but have you read the book? It is infinitely better, and potentially the weirdest book you'll ever read. Unreliable narrators, psychological horror, body horror, grappling with the destructive forces of revenge and jealousy on sea swept cliffside moors...this one's got it all!
