Brown Bag Book Club

We will discuss R.F. Kuang’s New York Times bestseller, Yellowface.

Famed author Athena Liu’s sudden death opens a window for June Hayward, her friend and fellow author who lives in Athena’s shadow. June locates Athena’s unfinished draft of a novel on Chinese laborers during the First World War.

June, now Juniper Song, is now that bestselling author she dreamt of. Everything is perfect…until the public starts catching on.
