Spice Club: January is Grains of Paradise
January Spice Club is here, and this month’s featured spice is bold, aromatic, and full of character: Grains of Paradise! Native to West Africa, particularly the Gulf of Guinea region, these small, peppery seeds have a long history of use in cooking and traditional trade. With a warm, citrusy flavor and a gentle peppery bite, Grains of Paradise are a fun way to add a little brightness and depth to winter dishes.
Access to the featured spice each month is thanks to our local partner, Grain Train Natural Foods Market. If you enjoy what you try at PDL, they’re sure to have more on their shelves!
Quantities are limited and available on a first come, first served basis—one per household, please.
