D&D DM 101 for Teens
This program is for all teens interested in becoming a dungeon master for D&D. Whether you are new to the game, have played but never as the DM, or if you have experience as a DM and want to develop your skills. You will learn to create a fun and engaging experience for the whole table, including yourself!
Participants who attend all four sessions will will leave with a set of D&D dice, a notebook, and these skills:
- Game rules and mechanics
- Session Zero: establishing expectations
- Building the game world and tone
- Campaign structure
- Session preparation
- Running the game

Logan has extensive experience teaching others how to play D&D 5th Edition, as well as the newer 2024 rules update. He has led DM 101 sessions through the DM’s Guild group within the D&D Club at Michigan Technological University, and has also worked one-on-one with individuals interested in learning how to DM. Logan has been playing D&D for over 12 years and has also hosted his own D&D live-play podcast.
This program is part of "Teen After School" and open to all 7-12 grade students.
