CMU Honors Band Weekend 2026

Join the School of Music for Central Michigan University's Honors Band Weekend 2026 on Saturday, November 21st & Sunday, November 22nd, 2026! This exciting weekend invites outstanding high school musicians to perform challenging and inspiring wind band literature while connecting with talented peers from across the region.

Under the direction of Dr. Christopher Chapman, Associate Professor and Director of Bands, participants will experience the energy, artistry, and community that define music at CMU. From engaging rehearsals to a culminating performance, Honors Band Weekend is your chance to grow as a musician, explore campus life, and discover what makes the CMU School of Music an exceptional place to continue your musical journey!
