Grass Lake Festival of Lights & Cookie Tour

​You’re invited to celebrate the magic of the season in the downtown Village of Grass Lake! Our annual Festival of Lights & Cookie Tour is a full day of heartwarming holiday cheer for the whole community.

The Festival of Lights & Cookie Tour is a long-standing community favorite that transforms downtown Grass Lake into a winter wonderland. The event features breakfast with Santa, local crafts, children’s activities, wagon rides, and the spectacular light parade.

The festival brings joy to families and shines a spotlight on the local businesses and organizations that make Grass Lake such a great place to call home.

Festival Schedule

December 5, 2026

8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Join the Grass Lake Fire Department for Breakfast with Santa (Free Will Donation).

They’ll also be collecting non-perishable food and toys.

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Make stops along our Cookie Tour and get to know the owners of our local businesses.

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Free Wagon Rides boarding at the Whistlestop Depot for a tour of downtown!

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

The Grass Lake Methodist Church hosts the Season Keepers Craft Sale and the Grass Lake Senior Center Members offers hot food and refreshments.

11:15 AM – 3:00 PM

Pictures with Santa at Whistlestop Depot — plus a raffle auction, hot chocolate, and collection of non-perishable food & toys.

6:00 PM

Watch (or join) the downtown Light Parade!

🎶 Enjoy a symphony of seasonal music all day at the Gazebo — compliments of Ghostrider DJ!
