Electronics Receptacle
Location: Larcom City Hall<br>Address: 301 E Huron St.<br>Link: https://www.a2gov.org/electronics<br><br>This program collects unwanted electronic devices from the Ann Arbor community and prevents them from becoming waste by facilitating reuse, refurbishment/repair, and—as a last resort—recycling of these devices. Electronics collections are in alignment with strategy 5 of the A<sup>2</sup>ZERO plan: change the way we use, reuse, and dispose of materials.  <br><br><br>Items that must be placed in the locked receptacle:<ul><li value="1">Laptop computers</li><li value="2">Cell phones</li><li value="3">Tablets</li><li value="4">iPods</li><li value="5">Circuit boards</li><li value="6">Floppy disks</li><li value="7">CDs</li><li value="8">DVDs</li><li value="9">Cassette tapes</li></ul>Items that must be placed in VapeRenew container:<ul><li value="1">Vapes</li></ul>Items that must be placed in collection bags:<ul><li value="1">String lights</li><li value="2">Cords and cables</li><li value="3">Alkaline batteries</li><li value="4">Keyboards</li><li value="5">Mice</li><li value="6">Smoke detectors</li><li value="7">Calculators</li><li value="8">Headphones</li><li value="9">Television remotes</li><li value="10">Small digital cameras</li></ul>ONLY the items listed above will be accepted. Please DO NOT place lithium batteries or workplace-owned electronics in the receptacle. If you have lithium batteries to recycle, this can be done at one of our registraion-required events (to be announced for 2027). <br><br><br>Do NOT place items outside of the receptacle.<br><br><br>Electronics with data will be kept in a locked receptacle throughout the duration of the drop-off period. All electronics in the receptacle will be picked up by Comprenew and recycled or refurbished at their facility.
