Reading Buddies: Diwali - The Festival of Lights (Ages 5-12)

Reading Buddies is exploring Diwali, the Festival of Lights! Participants will explore the meaning and traditions of Diwali through stories and hands-on activities, learning about light, celebration, and community across cultures. Kids will then create Diwali-inspired items for their Buddy along with themed crafts and simple activities like our light-and-shadow theater. The program blends literacy, cultural exploration, and creativity into a warm, engaging experience that celebrates storytelling and global traditions.
