Russ Baum

Enjoy fine dining and great live folk/rock/reggae/ska music with Russ Baum Trio and opening act Steve Fogt.

Russ is known for fusing influences of Townes Van Zandt, Jack Johnson, Authority Zero

and Kendrick Lamar. Today his fanbase is fueled by extensive tours across North America,

Central America and the United Kingdom. A far cry from the small town of Martinsville, Indiana

where he began in 2009.

Russ gained regional recognition in 2016 by receiving his 3rd consecutive award for

best Folk/Country and Overall Artist in Indianapolis per popular news source NUVO Magazine

under duo Russ Baum and Huck Finn.

After he focused on national touring by working with artists such as Moe Z MD, Chris

Shaffer (The Why Store), Adam Patterson (The Expendables), Jason Devore (Authority Zero),

and Howi Spangler (Ballyhoo!). He then co-founded Pop/Punk project Meager Kings.

Russ accomplished international status in 2019 by adding the United Kingdom to his

tour schedule. As the world came to a halt during the pandemic, Russ switched gears and

launched an interactive livestream podcast “On the Rise” to remain connected to his fans. Once

everything opened back up, Meager Kings hit the road and by the fall of 2024 had gained over half a million streams on their debut album, performed all over North America, Mexico, and

Honduras as well as the 311 Sixthman Cruise Ship and the BMI Key West Songwriters Festival.

Upon returning home they began production of a Sophomore release produced by Tye Zamora

(Alien Ant Farm) with performances by Ryan Moran (Slightly Stoopid).

Russ now has his focus on the pop/rock/hip-hop world, recording projects and tours throughout America, the UK and South

Africa and so much more.
