Indianapolis Children's Choir Gala - Midnight in Paris
The Indianapolis Children’s Choir (ICC) will host its largest annual fundraiser of the year in a new setting with a très chic theme. With more than half its funding from donations, the ICC brings music opportunities to 2,500+ central Indiana children each year, making the ICC Gala not only a big night for guests, but an important one for the choir. “We're seeing an unprecedented need for donations,” explained Joshua Pedde, the ICC's Executive Artistic Director. “More families have requested financial assistance than ever before, indicating that many children want to participate but don't have the means to do so. Events like this help fund our financial assistance program and our outreach programming, ensuring that all children can continue to access the choral music experiences that we offer.”
Attendees can expect an evening packed with elegant activities and donation opportunities, including live entertainment from ICC singers, a silent auction of thoughtfully crafted baskets from choir members and local businesses, photo ops, a whiskey pull, a signature cocktail and mocktail, and dinner in the Scottish Rite Cathedral's Grand Ballroom.
Now in its 41st season, the Indianapolis Children’s Choir has grown to become one of the largest professional children’s choirs in the world. Led by Executive Artistic Director Joshua Pedde, the ICC serves more than 2,500 central Indiana children from ages 18 months through 18 years. The Indianapolis Children’s Choir transforms lives through powerful choral experiences and music education, empowering young voices to grow, connect, and lead on stage and in the community.
