Special Event

Annual Native Plant Seed Exchange

Join the Native Plant Garden Club for a lively discussion inspired by the work of Dr. Doug Tallamy, professor in the Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware and co-founder of Homegrown National Park, whose research highlights the critical role of native plants in restoring biodiversity. Participants will share their experiences transforming lawns and gardens into thriving habitats that support pollinators, birds, and other wildlife. Whether you're just getting started or well on your way, this is a great opportunity to connect and learn with fellow native plant enthusiasts. This event is co-sponsored by the Southeast Iowa Sierra Club.
