Sunday Morning Worship: 24th Sunday after Pentecost
24th Sunday after Pentecost; Sunday Worship with Holy Communion
The preacher today will be Associate College Chaplain Sarah Semmler Smith ’04; presided by College Chaplain Matthew Marohl and assisted by Jonathan Madden ’20, Interim Cantor to the Student Congregation. The Manitou Singers will be conducted by Therees Hibbard, Associate Professor of Practice and Robert Scholz Endowed Chair in Music. Comprised of alto and soprano voices from the first-year class, the Manitou Singers is one of the most popular music organizations on the St. Olaf College campus. With a repertoire that ranges from sacred to secular to popular ballads, the 100-voice choir sings at the opening worship service of the college as well as at various campus functions throughout the year.
Sunday Worship is a time of inspiration and worship for body, mind, and spirit; a meaningful beginning to a new week. All are welcome!
