In Congress We Trust? 250 Years of “We the Voters” in the American Democratic Experiment

The Buntrock Institute for Freedom and Community invites the greater campus community to their Fall Speaker Series featuring Franita Tolson, Dean and Carl Mason Franklin Chair in Law, USC Gould School of Law, presenting In Congress We Trust? 250 Years of “We the Voters” in the American Democratic Experiment in Viking Theater on October 22 from 3:45-4:45 p.m. The lecture will focus on how Congress quietly shaped American elections across more than a century of constitutional development. In Congress We Trust? provides a new perspective on who truly governs our system of elections by showing that federal authority has been broad, lasting, and decisive.
