The Laramie Project
The Laramie Project is one of the most important American plays of the last 25 years — a mosaic of real voices from a real town grappling with an act of violence that changed the country. In 1998, 21-year-old Matthew Shepard was beaten and left to die on a fence outside Laramie, Wyoming in a hate crime that shocked the nation. This play tells that story through the voices of the people who lived it. Tickets for this Mainstage performance will be available October 30.
