Geology Guest Speaker: "Sandstone Geometry on the Colorado Plateau"

The Colorado Plateau has vast expanses of exposed sandstone. After thirty-seven years of hiking in the area I now understand many of the geological processes that led to the remarkable features of the important formations such as Navajo, Wingate, and Moenave sandstones. The terrain is especially pleasing to a photographer and I present dozens of images that show off the beauty and geologic history of the region.
