Macathon

Macathon brings students together from across campus to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems and compete for $2,000 in cash prizes. The catch? You only have 24 hours, and there is no prep work allowed. Macathon is a unique opportunity to put your liberal arts education into practice by identifying and defining a problem; leveraging research, creativity, and collaboration, plus exploring possible solutions; and testing your solution - is desirable, feasible, and viable. It's an intense, immersive, and unforgettable way to learn by doing. It is also super fun! It's a time for building ideas and memories. Open to all students from all majors. Join the excitement in Mairs Concert Hall on November 7th: 5:00 - 6:30 pm to see the top teams give their final pitches and who will go home with awards!
