The Clothing My Family Wears by Pawku Hser Book Launch

Celebrate the launch of The Clothing My Family Wears, a new children’s picture book by local author, Pawku Hser. This story follows a Karen family wearing traditional clothing that represents their cultural identity to introduce readers to the importance of handmade garments while also teaching readers colors. By highlighting these unique styles and the artisanal skill of backstrap weaving, the story serves as a proud celebration of Knyaw heritage and a guide to keeping their language and traditions alive for future generations.
