Intermediate Sewing Machine Skills: Coffee Cup Cozy

For adults 18 and up. Intermediate level sewing machine class. Protect your hands from heat and cold with an insulated cozy featuring an easy-grip strap. Create an insulated cozy that is perfect for ice cream pints, coffee cups, and even water bottles. Materials provided. Collaborator: Textile Center. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

This is an intermediate level sewing class; participants should have some basic experience using a sewing machine. Class is limited to 8 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive a few minutes early to sign up. This class will run concurrently with Minneapolis Central Craft Club across the hall, so people could participate in Craft Club and work on a different crafting project if the sewing class is full.

The RKMC Room is located on the Skyway level of the library. Access via the escalator or elevator from the Library Atrium.
