Fall Interdisciplinary Research Symposium (FIReS)

Since 2013, the Fall Internship and Research Symposium (FIReS) has been a venue for Valpo students to present work completed during their summer internships and research experiences to their fellow students, professors, community members, and potential employers.

This year, FIReS will take place on Friday, November 13, 2026, from 3-4:30 p.m. in the Harre Union. Poster sessions will take place in Ballroom A and oral sessions in the Alumni and Brown and Gold Rooms.

Come support our students and see the incredible work they’ve been doing all summer. Everyone is welcome! Learn more: valpo.edu/fall-internship-research-symposium
