Quilts of Valor® Ceremony 2026
Carnegie-Stout Public Library invites the public to attend the Quilts of Valor® Presentation Ceremony on Sunday, November 8, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
The Quilts of Valor project provides comfort and recognition to veterans through handmade quilts that symbolize gratitude and healing. The library is honored to showcase these works and host the ceremony as part of its ongoing commitment to celebrating service and community.
Prior to the ceremony, the Quilts of Valor® will be on display, honoring local veterans and service members. The exhibit features handmade quilts created by the Breezy Ridge Quilters as part of the national Quilts of Valor Foundation mission to cover veterans “touched by war” with comforting, healing quilts.
The display will conclude with a presentation ceremony where veterans will be formally awarded their quilts in
recognition of their service.
