Music @ your library: Denny Garcia and Addison Aronson

Carnegie-Stout Public Library welcomes local musicians Denny Garcia and Addison Aronson to the Music @ your library stage for a special First Fridays songwriter’s showcase. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the concert runs from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. The performance will feature a blend of Americana, weaving together elements of blues, country, bluegrass, and rock. This all-ages event is free to the public, though children must be accompanied by an adult. Attendees aged 21 and older are welcome to bring their own wine or beer.

This cross-generational performance bridges two eras of local talent. Denny Garcia has been a cornerstone of the Dubuque music scene for decades—from his time in Mississippi Band to a successful solo career and eleven years hosting the local radio show Midwest Music Makers. Joining him is Addison Aronson, a rising area songwriter and leader of Marzipan Mailbox, who is currently fine-tuning a new collection of solo work. Together, they will showcase their own inimitable styles and collaborate live on each other's songs.
