Scanning Family History Appointments - Tuesdays

Got boxes of photos or slides you don't know what to do with? Are you the keeper of all the family documents and you don't want to haul those boxes of stuff around forever?

The library is excited to offer personal scanning equipment for photos, documents and slides.

Many of are the keeper of boxes of "things" we just can't let go of...but yet we know that the next generation doesn't want those boxes. Yet all those "things" are memories, family history, part of your life and maybe your ancestors lives, and ARE important.

At the library you can put it all on an external drive, upload it to a website of your choice, and keep the family alive digitally. We suggest you watch a few training videos that linked in your registration confirmation email. The scanning area is self-serve, and easy. Staff provides limited technology help and is available for questions.
