Penning Your Past

Think about the stories you grew up hearing — memories shared by parents, grandparents, and loved ones that made you laugh, reflect, and feel connected. Those stories shape who we are. But as time passes, details fade, and we’re often left wishing more had been captured and saved.

What stories live within you?

Now is your opportunity to reflect, record, and honor your experiences. In this workshop you’ll discover simple, meaningful ways to preserve your personal and family stories — creating a legacy that can be treasured for years to come. No writing experience is needed for this workshop presented by Sara Attig, Family Life Educator from the University of Illinois Extension Office.
