Open House - Local History and Genealogy Collection

Interested in researching your own story? As Perry found in this year's Peoria Reads book, Warrior Girl Unearthed by Angeline Boulley, the history of the family revolves around discovered artifacts and stories.

The library can help! Come to the Open House in the Local History and Genealogy Collection on the lower level of the Main Library. Learn about our resources that can help you with your family history questions. Since we are the local history library we also have resources about local communites, neighborhoods, businesses, Peoria history, yearbooks and more.

Need to digitize photos or slides - yes slides....we can help you do that too.

Come on down for an overview, or maybe even a little research. Bring your questions!
