Tales for Tails

This program pairs trained and certified therapy dogs with children going into Grades K-6 who want to practice reading aloud.

There will be four 10-minute time slots available for kids to meet and read to a pup in the Children's Department:

Registration for each session opens two weeks before the session meets. Registration for this session can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6155, or by visiting the Children's Services Desk at the Library and registering in person. Anna Elizabeth will personally email those who register to assign them a time slot and introduce them to the dog they'll be meeting!
