Teen Craftivism

During Teen Craftivism, teens will learn a new craft and the history behind it, focusing on both historical and modern uses of arts and crafts. From handmade gentle protest signs to filling up our local Little Free Pantry, arts and crafts have a long legacy of being used to convey a message.

Monthly crafts for September through November are as follows:

- September 14: Perler Bead Protest Signs

- October 5: T-Shirt Toys for Shelter Dogs

- November 9: Dry Soup Meal Kits

Registration for each session of Teen Craftivism opens one month before the session meets. During the registration window for this program, registration can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or by visiting the Help Desk at the Library and registering in person.
