Learn to Homebrew

Learn the basics of home brewing. This class covers types of beer, basic equipment needed, cleaning & sanitation, water necessary for brewing, malt & malt extracts, hops, types of yeasts, fermentation, and bottling your finished beer. We will discuss the terminology and abbreviations and how to calculate ABV, IBU's, recipe conversions and other beer related information. Lastly, where to purchase supplies, general equipment, and material cost information. This program is presented by the Homebrewers of Peoria.
