Author Event at Chapter 52: Timasha Thornton

Join us Saturday, Nov. 21 from 10 am to noon for an Author Event at Chapter 52 Bookstore.

Timasha Thornton, author of I Still Have a Dream in Appleton: Hidden Racism, Forgotten History, and the Fight to Be Heard, will be available to talk with visitors and will be selling copies of her book.

I Still Have a Dream in Appleton is a personal and thought-provoking examination of race, fairness, community, and hidden bias in Appleton, Wisconsin. Through lived experiences, real-life stories, faith, and a call for accountability, Timasha Thornton gives voice to people who have felt overlooked or silenced. The book is also about strength, hope, listening, unity, and building a better future.

Timasha Thornton is a Milwaukee-born Wisconsin author, pastor, wife, and mother of eleven. Through faith, lived experience, and a deep commitment to justice and community healing, she writes to give voice to people who feel overlooked or unheard. Her work encourages honest conversation, hope, unity, and meaningful change.​
