641 Club: A Cookbook Discussion Group

November’s Theme: Potatoes. Such a versatile vegetable, try a recipe featuring the humble potato.

Join other home cooks for a casual discussion of recipes, strategies, and tasty food. We will meet in the Company E Room/Learning Kitchen on the lower level. A short demonstration/recipe tasting will take place before our discussion.

You are welcome to bring a dish to pass, but it is not required. While we encourage you to browse our cookbook collection (located under 641 in the nonfiction section) to get inspired and try new recipes, a dish you share or discuss may be a family recipe, from the Internet, or something you just cooked up. The dish does not *have* to fit the month’s theme, but it’s never a bad idea to try something new!

We will do our best to accommodate outlets for slow cookers or other appliances. Please reach out to [email protected] with questions.

All are welcome. No registration is required.

Some cookbook suggestions for November: The Great Potato Cookbook, One Potato, Two Potatoes, Sweet Potato Love, The Sweet Potato Lover's Cookbook, and Smashed, Mashed, Boiled, and Baked.
