Roll for initiative, and join us for adventure at the library!

Dungeons & Dragons is a tabletop roleplaying game, where players tell a fantasy/adventure story collaboratively with a guidance of a Dungeon Master. Each player takes the roll of a different character, each with a different set of skills, and players work together to solve problems, defeat enemies, solve puzzles, and find treasure.

Gaming at the library is a little different from gaming with friends at home. We will be using a special trimmed-down version of the game that keeps all of the medieval fantasy/adventure vibes, but streamlines the rules nicely and makes things less complicated. This system makes it especially easy for new players to join quickly, without having to learn a complex system or spend an hour making a new character.

Players of all experience levels - including those brand new to the game - are welcome. Please bring three 6-sided dice if you have them; no big deal if you don't.

We also suggest arriving with an idea of what type of character you wish to play. Watch this video to learn more about the different classes that you can choose from.

D&D Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month during the school year. This club is for anyone currently in grades 6-12. Registration isn't required to participate, but it does allow you to get reminders about upcoming sessions and helps us a bit with our planning. You just need to sign up once and you will be covered until the end of the school year, with no need to sign up for individual sessions and no pressure to attend every session if you aren't able to do so.

Please note that we want our gameplay to involve teamwork and cooperation. Play that is antagonistic toward other players, disruptive, or blatantly unhelpful will not be tolerated.
