Hook, Loop, Create: Beginner Crochet for New Makers

Winter is the perfect time to learn a cozy new craft—whether you want to make handmade gifts for the holidays or simply enjoy a relaxing creative hobby. In this welcoming, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of crochet and build a foundation for continued practice and future projects. Your instructor, a Made@Stout maker, will introduce the tools, materials, and pattern basics needed to get started. Through demonstrations and guided practice, you’ll develop core crochet techniques and learn how to create both flat and three-dimensional forms. If you are new to crochet or have done a bit of crochet and want to recover or build your skills this class is for you! By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a simple project to take home with the confidence to continue your crochet journey on your own. All materials provided. Youth (ages 12 and up) are welcome but must be registered and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
