Program Volunteen: Tell a Story

Registered event for grades 9-12; Helen Plum Library card required.

Earn service hours while having fun helping with Youth Programs. As a Program Volunteen, you’ll team up with Library staff to set up and clean up events, play with attendees, and jump in when needed.

Please only sign up for one Program Volunteen opportunity per week. To receive service hours, volunteers must complete a Service Hour Documentation Request form. Requests will take at least two weeks to be fulfilled.

Program Volunteens help by:

- Setting up and taking down the program

- Engaging with program participants and their caregivers

- Refilling supplies, cleaning toys, and resetting play areas

- Completing other program-related tasks as assigned

By registering for this event, Program Volunteens are agreeing to:

- Dress professionally and wear a provided name tag

- Arrive on time and sign in at the Youth Services Desk

- Provide excellent customer service

- Alert staff if confused or concerned

- Be a good representative of the Helen Plum Library to the Lombard community
