Making the Holidays and Gift Giving Sustainable

The holidays can be festive, and they can also increase household waste. Let's explore ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle while still enjoying the season. Create your own paper decorations and origami boxes to take home, while discussing how to decrease the consumerism of the season.

Part presentation, part discussion, and part hands-on activity, this Climate Optimism in Action series gives you the opportunity to learn and explore how to engage with the environment in a positive way. Each session will be action-based, exploring a seasonal topic that gives you information and steps forward to become a climate optimist.
