Data Centers: Impacts and Solutions

The Illinois Environmental Council and Vote Solar talk about data centers and their impacts on the environment and surrounding communities. The presentation will highlight proposed state legislation that could minimize the impacts of AI data centers and will include details on how you can be involved on this topic.

For more information on data centers, you can also attend Data Centers: Where the Internet Lives with Thomas Zakrzewski, Monday, November 2, 6-7 pm.

Part presentation, part discussion, and part hands-on activity, the Climate Optimism in Action series gives you the opportunity to learn and explore how to engage with the environment in a positive way.
