The Unknown Country

Tana, grieving the loss of her grandmother, accepts an invitation to reunite with her Oglala Lakota family. This decision launches her on an unexpected road trip from Minneapolis to the Texas–Mexico border. Incorporating real stories of people in places that are often overlooked, it’s one of the most thoughtful and genuine road-trip movies in recent years.
