Books & Blockbusters: The Maltese Falcon (1941)

After watching a movie made from a book, do you ever ask yourself: was that as good as the book? Or, did they make the right casting choices, and if not, who would you have chosen to play those characters?

In Lockport's Books & Blockbusters book club, we will discuss all of those questions and more. Attendees will read the book selections individually, and then we will come together to watch the adapted movie and discuss it over with popcorn and your favorite soft drink. Copies of the book will be available at the Adult Services desk one month prior to the discussion.

Our November selection is: The Maltese Falcon byDashiell Hammett.

Please come join us for this exciting monthly book club, we hope to see you there!

This month's selection will also be discussed at our program Film Noir: Cinema's Dark Secrets and Dangerous Desires on November 10th at 7:00 P.M. Attend one event or both.
