Tween Creative Writing Workshop

Join other tween writers on the first Thursday of each month (Sept-Nov) for a jolt of inspiration. Each month, we'll focus on a specific writing skill, try some fun prompts, and talk about our own work. Tweens will gain creative confidence and inspiration to fuel their own projects.

All levels of creative tween writers, as well as any genre (fiction, poetry, non-fiction, graphic/cartoon, songwriters, etc.) welcome. We will hone our skills together.

Please register for each session separately (September - November).

Staff member and award-winning author, Jamie Swenson, will lead the workshops. Jamie holds an MFA in creative writing for children and young adults from Hamline University.
