Iran Colloquium: Exile as Literary Trope and Reality in Premodern Persian Literature

Sunil Sharma is Professor of Persianate and Comparative Literature at Boston University. His areas of expertise are premodern Persian and South Asian literatures and his research interests include poetry and court cultures, history of the book, and travel writing. He has authored several books and articles, and translated poetry and prose works from Persian, Urdu, and Hindi.
