Join the Middleton Public Library at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17 for a speacial topic “Food as Medicine.”
Our food choices are a major influence on our health and something we get to control. Learn how to improve your food intake, based on your specific needs, and enjoy food as it was meant to be enjoyed. Recent studies show an association between food intake and the rising incidence of several types of cancer and decades of research point to the influence food intake has on longevity. Come and learn more about what your food choices mean for you.
Presenter bio: Eileen Mikus is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist with a Masters in Nutrition from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from University of Michigan. She has experience in diabetes prevention and treatment, food intolerances, and geriatric nutrition. She enjoys presenting credible nutrition information to the public as an RD “Nutrition Expert”.
