City-wide trick-or-treating in Port Washington for Halloween 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This aligns with the city’s standard tradition of hosting residential candy collection on Halloween night.
For a full day of family-friendly festivities, the city typically splits the events into multiple segments:
Farmers Market Trick-or-Treat: Vendors at the local farmers market often participate in morning/early afternoon handing out treats.
Downtown Trick-or-Treat: Participating local merchants and storefronts on Franklin Street hand out treats from the afternoon to the early evening.
City-Wide Residential: The official neighborhood-to-neighborhood trick-or-treating happens from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
