Join us for AgriTalks: Global Perspectives - Building Food Security Through Sustainable Aquaculture: An OSU–Njala University Partnership

In this talk, Dr. Borsuah will discuss how the OSU & Njala University collaboration is advancing sustainable aquaculture, strengthening institutional capacity, and improving food and nutrition security in Sierra Leone. He will showcase key project achievements, community impact, and opportunities for long-term sustainability and growth.

Dr. Borsuah earned a B.S. in Environmental Chemistry from Njala University in Sierra Leone, an M.S. in Environmental Science from Oklahoma State University and a Ph.D. in Environmental Hydrology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. His research focuses on water quality, contaminant transport and watershed systems. He currently serves as SAFE Project Manager in the Ferguson College of Agriculture, leading sustainable aquaculture development and international agricultural partnerships. Originally from West Africa, he brings international expertise in environmental science, sustainable agriculture and capacity building.
