Title: Advancing Foundational Research in Underwater Robotics using Machine Learning

Abstract: This talk will present recent advancements in adapting state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms that address fundamental problems in underwater robotics. Due to the complex nature of underwater environments, modifications in data manipulation and framework structure are needed in order to achieve satisfactory results. Examples will be given on using learning-based methods for underwater navigation, control, and target detection.
