Opting Out of AI

This workshop, led by University Library staff, will explore strategies for using AI more intentionally. We will discuss topics ranging from browser tracking to the role of AI tools in your everyday life. We will also introduce practical ways to take more control of when or how those tools are used, how your data are collected and tracked, and ways you can opt out. At the end of the workshop, we will share additional resources for learning more about AI and adopting a more mindful approach to AI in our world.

This workshop is offered by the University Library and will be led by librarians Dayna Durbin and Gracie Riehm.

This workshop is being offered remotely via Zoom only. You can register through the library calendar. Registrants will receive a Zoom link; those on the waitlist will not receive a Zoom link unless they are bumped up to a registered spot.

All registrants however, will receive access to the meeting recording and resources.
