Dimensional Glass Canvas Workshop at Lake Geneva Art Studio
Create an original glass artwork that’s uniquely yours during this relaxed, beginner-friendly fused glass workshop. Choose an image for inspiration or bring your own idea, then use a printed guide beneath the clear glass to help build your design with colorful glass pieces, shapes, and decorative details. No drawing or sketching experience is needed.
What makes this workshop special is the finished texture. Rather than melting completely flat, your artwork is kiln-fired so the individual pieces of glass retain some of their shape, creating a beautiful dimensional, textured surface.
This hands-on, two-hour creative experience includes:
• Create one 5-inch by 5-inch dimensional fused glass artwork
• Beginner-friendly instruction with no art experience required
• A relaxed, welcoming studio setting
• Thoughtful, individualized guidance while you create at your own pace
• Your choice of colors, patterns, shapes, and decorative glass elements
• The option to use a printed image beneath the glass as inspiration
• Plenty of freedom to make your artwork uniquely yours
• All glass, materials, tools, instruction, and kiln firing
Upcoming workshop dates generally fall on Saturdays from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM. Additional dates and times are also available through the registration link below.
Groups of six or more may request a private Dimensional Fused Glass Workshop at the same per-person price, scheduled at a mutually convenient date and time.
After the workshop, your artwork will be kiln-fired with a dimensional, textured finish, preserving some of the shape and character of the individual glass pieces. Finished artwork will be ready for pickup within two weeks and can be displayed as a suncatcher, on a wood or acrylic stand, or as a decorative glass art piece. Shipping is available for an additional charge.
Each finished piece is one of a kind, a colorful work of glass art to enjoy in your home or give as a meaningful handmade gift.
