October 5 - 31: Scarecrow Walk | Along the lakefront in Williams Bay
The Williams Bay Scarecrow Walk is back! Take a walk along the Williams Bay Lakefront Path and check out the creative scarecrows on display throughout October. Local businesses, organizations, families, and community members will each put their own spin on a fall favorite. Scarecrows will be on display beginning October 5. Come take a walk along the lakefront, enjoy the fall weather, and see all of this year's creations!
October 17: Trunk-O-Treat Fall Festival | Williams Bay School Parking Lot
Join us for Williams Bay’s Trunk or Treat! Dress up in your favorite costume and head to Williams Bay High School for an afternoon of Halloween fun from 12:00–2:00 PM. Kids and families can make their way from trunk to trunk collecting treats and checking out all of the decorated vehicles. Trunk or Treat will also feature pumpkin carving and decorating as part of our Boo in the Bay festivities. Come out, bring your treat bag, and enjoy a fun afternoon with the community!
October 21: Murder at the Monster Mash (Murder Mystery) | Lions Field House @ 6PM
Join us for a Halloween themed interactive murder mystery night designed for adults 21+. Work together to uncover clues, enjoy laughs, and solve the case. FREE to attend, but registration is required. Adult Activity Night Age: 21+ (RSVP by Tuesday October 13th) --- Space is limited - Do Not Delay...We are dying to meet you.....
October 24: Pumpkin Races | Elm Street Hill
Ready… set… roll! The annual Pumpkin Races are back, bringing festive fun for all ages. Choose your division: the Fun Run Division is exactly as it sounds—send your pumpkin rolling down the hill and see how far it goes. The Bracket Division features head-to-head races in a step-ladder format to crown a champion. For the truly daring, the Cheaters Division is “anything goes,” so get creative with your pumpkin’s design and wheels. Registration is required for the Bracket and Cheaters divisions. Gather your friends, decorate your pumpkin, and join us for a morning of laughter and friendly competition!
October 24: Monster Walk | Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy - sign in at the shelter by Highway 67
Get into the Halloween spirit with a family-friendly walk through the trails! Put on your favorite costume and enjoy an evening filled with spooky surprises, fun decorations, and plenty of Halloween excitement. Along the way, you'll encounter friendly monsters, themed activities, and sweet treats that make this a favorite fall tradition for all ages. Whether you're dressing up as a superhero, princess, pirate, or ghost, everyone is welcome to join the fun!
October 30: Halloween Movie | Williams Bay High School
Join us for a special Halloween movie night featuring Hotel Transylvania on October 30 from 7:00–9:00 PM at Williams Bay High School! Bring the family and get ready for a fun night with Dracula, Mavis, and the rest of the monster crew. Grab your blankets, get comfortable, and enjoy a Halloween favorite on the big screen. This is a FREE community event presented by the Williams Bay Recreation Department.
