Black Cats Halloween Party

Celebrate the history, mystery and magic of black cats this Halloween at Museion Wines in Calistoga.

Museion Wines and Chateau Gato are transforming the winery into an evening of candlelight, wine, tarot and music, all in honor of the cat that has inspired centuries of folklore. Guests will enjoy Museion and Chateau Gato wines, food, tarot readings and music from DJ Parrot.

The night features a special appearance by internationally recognized cat behavior expert Jackson Galaxy. He will talk about the myths and superstitions surrounding black cats and share what’s ahead for the Jackson Galaxy Project in St. Helena.

VIP guests stay on for a private book signing and meet-and-greet with Jackson Galaxy.

Costumes are encouraged. Come dressed as your favorite creature of the night.

Who it benefits

Every ticket and a portion of wine sales benefit the Jackson Galaxy Project, the St. Helena nonprofit formerly known as We Care Animal Rescue. The organization is building its Napa Valley shelter into a national model for the care of cats, helping more cats find loving homes and teaching shelters, volunteers and adopters how to do the same.

Black cats are often the last to be adopted. This is a night to celebrate them as the smart, affectionate companions they are.
